James “Jim” Wilson – Unbonded Post-Tensioning
James Wilson started in post-tensioned construction in 1987 while employed with a multinational segmental bridge contractor. Initially focused on building segmental bridges in South Florida, the company diversified into post-tensioned structural repair. In1989, he assumed the role of Florida Regional Manager for a prominent national structural restoration firm. Over the following eight years, he spearheaded the establishment of in-house capabilities for posttensioned cable repairs.

In 1996, he activated his Florida Certified General Contractors license and founded a contracting company in South Florida, which swiftly gained recognition as an expert in post-tensioned
structural repairs. In 2005, he purchased a Florida based company that specializes in parking garage barrier cable systems. These two companies have been continuously operated out of Fort
Lauderdale, Florida.

While still actively engaged in contracting, he designed a new temporary anchor device to locko R multiple bundled tendons and was issued a United States Patent in 2016. Recognizing the
limitations of existing products specifically for use in post-tensioned repairs, he embarked on the development of more innovative products, resulting in the issuance and ongoing application of additional US Patents.

By late 2022, he opened another company that specializes in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of niche post-tension products. Throughout this evolution, he has maintained the
contracting businesses to help facilitate the development and field testing of new products, prior to their release.

Post-Tension Consulting LLC was established in 2024 to provide building owners, engineers, and contractors with access to the over 37 years of experience in post-tensioned structural repair and barrier cable design and installation.

Robert “Bob” Godino – Parking Garage Barrier Systems
Bob Godino and Jim Wilson have worked together since 1989, when they both started working for the same national structural restoration firm, and in 1996, he assumed the role of Vice President in the new South Florida contracting company. When the company purchased a Florida based company specializing in parking garage barrier cable systems in 2005, Bob assumed the role of managing this new entity. Since that time, he has overseen all cost estimating, contract administration, design, and project management duties for the parking barrier operations.

In 2022, he became a partner in the company that specializes in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of niche post-tension products. His input has helped with the development of a line of barrier cable related hardware.
