Our Services
With a 37-year track record of successfully completing post-tensioned projects, clients can rely on our extensive knowledge of post-tensioning for the technical assistance that we can provide, ranging from the pre-construction evaluation phase through to construction. Our goal is to be a valued member of the construction team.
While we’re not engineers, as a licensed General Contractor we’ve successfully completed thousands of projects, both large and small. What we bring to each project is the unique ability to help develop plans to evaluate the existing building condition and work as part of a team to assist with a scope of work assessment for these often difficult to accurately assess building conditions. With nearly four decades of industry experience, we can often help with the recommendation of a qualified team of engineers and contractors that specialize in post-tensioning.
Throughout the decades, we have reviewed countless project manuals that while well intended, unfortunately miss the mark. This is usually attributed to the specifier’s relative inexperience with the complexities of a post-tensioned project. This can also be in part due to the difficulty in obtaining information through credible industry sources that can be usefully applied at the project level. Our experience provides us with the unique ability to help coalesce project inspection records into meaningful scopes of work that can be used for budgeting, planning, and competitive bidding.
After the successful repair of hundreds of thousands of post-tensioned tendons, we have become experts in the safe and efficient repair of damaged cables. This unique knowledge and understanding of the specialized techniques and hardware necessary gives us the ability to provide engineers and contractors with the means to solve problems ranging from the routine to the most complex. As a designer of Patented repair hardware, we can also provide solutions that may not yet be widely known in the industry.
Since 2005, we have designed and installed numerous parking garage barrier systems. These have included barrier cable, framed fence, and fence on cable installations. Most of these systems have been on newly constructed garages, but we have also successfully retrofit many garage barrier systems, including those with non-building code compliant systems. We can assist building owners with retrofit solution alternatives and cost analysis. For our engineering clients, we can analyze new and existing garage structures to identify potential design problems and recommend cost effective solutions. We also have extensive experience with the design and manufacture of fabricated steel elements ranging from cable embeds, terminal posts, and crash beams.
